Neptune has added a dedicated delivery vehicle to its electric line-up: the NEPTUNE EV Cargo, made in Sri Lanka.
It carries up to 500 kg in a strong, durable, heavy-duty cargo box with rear double doors, runs on a 20 kWh battery with a 5 kW rated motor, and uses a fully automatic gearbox.
Range is about 100 km on battery alone, depending on load and speed. An optional 620 W rooftop solar system (Rs. 150,000) adds about 50 km a day for free, for a total of up to 350 km.
